The Track and Field Stadium includes a 400 meter Proturf surface track with eight lanes for competition and one jogging lane. Other important items include:

* Bleachers that seat approx. 2000
* Lighting (safety only)
* High Jump Area
* Long Jump Pit
* Hammer and Javelin Area
* Steeplechase
* Infield Turf area measuring 65X100 yards

Spanos Training Facility
This facility, donated by Charger owner Alex G. Spanos, is located at the top of the Track and Field stadium and contains the following features:

* Weight Training Room
* Activity Room - 60X20 with mirrors on west walls
* 2 Locker Rooms complete with showers and 60 oversized lockers in each

The open recreation area located south of the Track and Field Stadium is approximately 13.32 acres and features playing fields for as many as five full sized soccer fields and six softball fields. In the north-west corner of this field, the UC San Diego Men's and Women's soccer teams play their home games. The cement bleachers seat approximately 800 people. In the south-west corner of NCRA, the Intercollegiate Athletics Women's Softball team practices and plays their home games. This field is regulation size and has a portable fence, batting cage, and bullpen mound. The bleachers located behind the backstop seat approximately 200 people.
